Pa Foray Kamara was among the respected elders and community figures whose support, guidance, and commitment helped create an environment in which education could take root in Thankorosidia.

Alhaji Mohamed Fofanah led and participated in several consultative meetings with district education authorities in Kabala and with the Ministry of Education, representing the interests and aspirations of the community with clarity, patience, and determination. His ability to unite elders, engage government officials, and maintain community consensus was instrumental in laying the groundwork for the school’s successful opening on Monday, September 4, 1972.
